I'm 0.1667 done with College!

Thats 1/8 in fractional terms - there are 7 more semesters to go - unless I end up going to graduate school, etc. I feel that I did well on my last two finals. My humanitites test I know that I missed at least 4 points out of 165, and probably a couple more, but I believe that I should still get an A or a A-. My physics final this morning I didn't even study for - The most I did was 'think' about studying and go to a study session last wednesday. I think I either aced that, or will get a few points off. I highly reccomend the Apologia physics and chemistry courses - primarily the physics and advanced physics. Those two years greatly prepared me for the stuff I got to do this semester. On the physics test, I give the credit to God. He has given to me a mind that easily comprehends and solves those type of problems. He gave me the speed and ability to take tests well. All Glory and Praise be to God! Praise the LORD!

I'll be home tomorrow - probably get to the house about 11 PM. Can't wait!!

Always winter, and never christmas

It seems that Grove City College is trapped in Narnia - it feels like it is always winter, but never Christmas. There's been snow on the ground constantly for about 3 weeks now, and it also seems that every time I look out the window, its snowing again. Despite the practically constant precipitation, there dosn't seem to be that much snow. There may be about 3-4 inches out there now, not much for almost 3 weeks worth. I dont really mind the snow and the cold, but I am starting to get burned out for the semester and ready to go home. Time is moving slowly with christmas right around the corner, yet, there is a barrier in the way, finals. I only have another 5 or so days - with 4 finals. Anyone who reads this, I'm sure that I can use prayer on the subject of Final Exams. I don't think that i am too stressed out about them, but I am a little anxious and I still have work to do to prepare for them. Well, I'm tired, and I should probably think about going to sleep. 5 more days!

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe

Well, as one of the first members of the public to see the new movie, I think it was pretty good. Grove City College was one of two, I think, to get an advanced showing of the film the night before it opened, and my roommate got tickets, so I got to go. I liked it, even though I havn't read the books. I saw a lot of parallels to the Lord of the Rings movies, but they definately were very different.
Well, its snowing here right now. We got about 1 1/2 to 2 inches during the 2 and a half hours that we were in the theatre, and the weather channel predicts another 5 before morning. The weather is cold - it was 10 degrees out this morning, and it probably didnt get above freezing temperatures. Its also late, so i will be going to sleep. I have to get up to go to breakfast and physics - I can't wait!
There are only 4 more days of classes before break counting tomorrow - then there are just 4 final exams! Oh the Joy! Then I am home, then christmas comes! Praise the Lord!

OK, now I am really going to sleep. Good-night.

Its been a while...

Gosh, its been almost a month since my last post. I guess a lot has happened since then - thanksgiving break was fun. Time goes faster on a 4.5 hour flight in a plane when you have a laptop that can play movies...I had a great time in arizona with grandma and grandpa. I got to eat grandma's great food, drive at unsafe and stupid speeds (40 mph +) over the desert roads on a quad without a helmet. Not smart, but fun. That, and the shotgun in the rack on the front and the shells in pouches on my belt combined to make the trip very interesting. I think I got about 15-20 quails and 4 cottontail rabbits over the week that I was there. The quails are very good eating deep-fried in beer batter - very moist, flavorful, and tender. Also pretty easy to clean, which is good. When I get home, I have a bunch of pictures to show and...you'll see. You've heard of SaveToby.com? Good. Refresh your memory.

God blessed me the 2 weeks before break - I had 3 tests on 3 consecutive schooldays - and I got a 96, 96, and a 95 on them. Praise the Lord!

Well, I'm sitting here typing and eating pizza coming up around midnight. Johnathan and I moved the room around today, So the room feels different, but we got to have fun planning and moving it around. Of course, there was some schoolwork I could have done, but I did get some done tonight. I can't believe that I only have another 1.5 weeks of classes before the final exams of my first semester of college. It seems to have gone by so fast.

Well, not a whole lot else has happened lately - lots of school work, lots of time trying to force myself to do something productive - etc. Well, to anyone who still reads this, thanks for reading, and I miss talking and seeing everyone back in california. My family, all of the members of my church family, and all of my friends. Well, its only another 2 and a half weeks and I will be flying home. That time surely wont seem long! Well, goodby, I miss you all, I hope you miss me too, your friend/brother/son/etc
